Senior / Principal Infrastructure Engineer

We are working with one of our key clients to help find them a Senior / Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join their busy civil engineering team in their Colchester office on a full-time, contract basis (minimum of 3 months), to assist with their pipeline of infrastructure design work.
The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of types of projects in all major sectors and will have the ability to gain a wide range of experience to stretch your skills and develop your career.
Responsibilities:
- The design and detailing of civil engineering schemes, feasibility studies, calculations, modelling, inspections, surveys and reports;
- Manage and deliver projects within cost, time profitability and quality requirements,;
- Obtaining third party approvals, liaising with clients, other professionals and the public;
- You may also be required to supervise and train employees with less experience.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering;
- 10+ years relevant design experience;
- Section 38 and 278 Highway design;
- Private & Adoptable Drainage Design;
- Setting Drainage Strategies;
- Earthwork volume assessments/cut and fill analysis;
- Experience of writing FRAs would be a bonus!
Our client also promotes agile working and is happy for the Senior / Principal Infrastructure Engineer to work from home for 4 days a week with one day working in the office each week.
