A well-established Chartered Architectural Practice is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join their growing regional team based in Leeds.
With successful offices nationwide, this practice boasts an impressive and diverse project portfolio across multiple sectors and has earned an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects from inception to completion. With a strong cross-sector track record, they are particularly recognised for their expertise within the Education, Industrial, Healthcare, and now Ministry of Defence sectors.
The Leeds office is currently experiencing a period of significant growth, particularly in new Ministry of Defence commissions. The practice is therefore looking to strengthen their team with a job-running Senior Architect who can manage projects from concept through to completion, demonstrating technical excellence, client-facing skills, and strong leadership.
Senior Architect Requirements:
- Relevant architectural degree (RIBA Part 3) with circa 10 years post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in running medium-to-large scale projects across multiple sectors, ideally including Education, Industrial, Healthcare, or Ministry of Defence projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning policies, Building Regulations, materials, and construction techniques.
- Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, and 3D modelling software; BIM expertise is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and client management skills; able to lead meetings, coordinate consultants, and foster strong client relationships.
- Experience in team leadership and mentoring junior staff.
- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
