Conrad Consulting are partnering up with our Clients to present an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Technician to join a highly reputable well established practice in Gloucestershire, working on exciting projects within the high end residential sector.
As a Senior Architectural Technician the right candidate will have demonstrated experience working on a range of project types within the high end residential, leisure and care sectors, The successful Architectural Technician candidate will possess the qualities to work independently and collaboratively, be highly motivated and have a demonstrated capability to create and implement Technical drawings and have experience working both in the office and on site.
If you are a Senior Technician that has 7 plus years post qualification with an extensive knowledge of projects across all RIBA stages, excellent Technical knowledge in the later RIBA stages and also possess a sound understanding of current building regs and legislation this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
At minimum the successful Architect candidate needs to possess –
- RIBA/ARB registered Architect or equivalent degree qualification
- Minimum 7 years + Demonstrable Post qualification UK experience
- Experience with NBS specification writing
- Excellent Technical knowledge and coverage of all RIBA stages especially the later stages (4-7)
- Job running experience – working on projects within the high end residential sector.
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
- Ability to produce high standard technical drawings
- Strong communication skills to liaise with building inspectors and contractors
- Sound knowledge of UK Planning Process, Tender packages, UK Building Regulations and UK construction methods
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Possess a Clean UK driving license and own transport
- Demonstrated Experience working on site and in a drawing office
On offer for the successful Senior Architectural Technician candidate is a highly competitive salary likely to be in the region of £37,000 - £43,000 dependent on experience, A generous benefits package and an opportunity to develop your career working with a friendly and supportive team at a well-established practice.
