Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be a key part of the design and delivery team, leading projects across all RIBA stages:

  • Manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Work directly with clients and lead design and technical meetings.
  • Produce detailed planning, tender, and construction drawing packages.
  • Oversee site meetings, liaising with contractors and sub-contractors throughout construction.
  • Ensure all work complies with current UK Building Regulations and sustainability standards.
  • Embrace and utilise the latest BIM and design software (experience with Vectorworks or willingness to train supported).
  • Contribute to mentoring and guiding junior team members.

About You

You’ll be a confident and technically skilled Senior Architectural Technologist with:

  • 5–10 years of UK-based experience, ideally in a job-running or senior technical role.
  • Strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of the planning process, UK building regulations, and modern construction methods.
  • Proficiency in BIM-compatible software (Vectorworks experience is ideal, though training can be provided).
  • Outstanding communication and team leadership skills.
  • A genuine passion for sustainable architecture and environmentally responsible design.
