We are seeking an accomplished Senior Architectural Technologist to join an award-winning Architecture and Building Consultancy practice in Huddersfield, operating nationally across the UK.
You’ll be stepping into a pivotal role within our partnered clients established multi-disciplinary consultancy, working across the public sector with a focus on maintenance, refurbishment, and new-build projects in Education, Healthcare, and Residential settings. This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects from inception to completion, combining your technical skills with leadership assistance to guide a talented team.
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will:
- Lead and manage architectural projects through all RIBA stages, ensuring high technical standards and compliance with building regulations.
- Oversee and mentor a team of Architectural Technologists, providing guidance, technical expertise, and quality control.
- Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Champion the use of Revit and AutoCAD within the team, driving BIM integration and best practice.
- Proactively resolve design and technical challenges, ensuring robust and buildable solutions.
Requirements
- Degree qualified with 7+ years post-qualification experience in architectural practice (public sector experience advantageous).
- Exceptional technical knowledge and a proven track record of delivering projects to a high standard.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing junior staff.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with up-to-date knowledge of current building regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to inspire confidence in clients and colleagues alike.
- Chartered MCIAT status preferred (or working towards).
