A leading Chartered Architectural Practice based in Leeds is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join their collaborative team. This well-established medium-sized practice, with over 30 years of success, delivers exceptional commercial, industrial, retail, and residential projects across the UK — with sustainability and innovation at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities - As a Senior Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading projects across all RIBA work stages, including:

  • Leading design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
  • Acting as the main client contact, attending and leading design and technical meetings.
  • Developing planning, tender, and construction information to a high technical standard.
  • Coordinating with contractors and consultants during site and construction stages.
  • Ensuring all work complies with UK Building Regulations, planning policy, and sustainability standards.
  • Utilising BIM and design software effectively (Vectorworks experience desirable; training available).
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering a collaborative studio culture.

About You - You’ll be a confident and skilled Senior Architect who thrives in a design and delivery role. Ideally, you will have:

  • 5–10 years’ UK-based experience, ideally in a senior or job-running capacity.
  • ARB registration and strong technical knowledge.
  • Excellent understanding of UK planning procedures, Building Regulations, and modern construction methods.
  • Proficiency in BIM-compatible software (Vectorworks advantageous, training can be provided).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead project teams.
  • A genuine passion for sustainable architecture and innovative design.
