Key Responsibilities - As a Senior Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading projects across all RIBA work stages, including:
- Leading design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
- Acting as the main client contact, attending and leading design and technical meetings.
- Developing planning, tender, and construction information to a high technical standard.
- Coordinating with contractors and consultants during site and construction stages.
- Ensuring all work complies with UK Building Regulations, planning policy, and sustainability standards.
- Utilising BIM and design software effectively (Vectorworks experience desirable; training available).
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering a collaborative studio culture.
About You - You’ll be a confident and skilled Senior Architect who thrives in a design and delivery role. Ideally, you will have:
- 5–10 years’ UK-based experience, ideally in a senior or job-running capacity.
- ARB registration and strong technical knowledge.
- Excellent understanding of UK planning procedures, Building Regulations, and modern construction methods.
- Proficiency in BIM-compatible software (Vectorworks advantageous, training can be provided).
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead project teams.
- A genuine passion for sustainable architecture and innovative design.
