Our client is a highly reputable and well-established construction consultancy firm based in Leeds. Due to a number of big project wins, they are now looking to grow the team with the addition of a Senior Building Surveyor. The successful candidate will be joining one of Yorkshire’s most reputable building surveying teams to work on a range of large-scale projects across different sectors, providing a variety of building surveying and project management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking building surveys, condition surveys, and party wall agreements.
- Preparing and overseeing schedules of dilapidations and conducting leasehold advice.
- Offering expert advice on technical and construction-related matters.
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements:
- Building surveying degree
- MRICS qualified
- Proven experience as a building surveyor, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Strong working knowledge of building regulations and legislation.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Proficient in using relevant software applications, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite

- Salary £50,000 - £55,000
