Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer - Heavy Civils/Marine Engineering
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

With a strong commitment to excellence, safety, and sustainability, they are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join the expanding team in Belfast.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering a wide range of key projects across Northern Ireland and mainland UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including junior engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to define project objectives and specifications.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections as required.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, calculations, and reports.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered status (CEng) is preferred.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in heavy civils or marine engineering projects.
- Strong proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
