Senior Civil Engineer

Leeds

£50,000 - £55,000 plus benefits

 

We are working with an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy who have the benefit of multiple offices throughout the UK.

 

They are looking to grow their civils team in Leeds and would like to appoint a talented and ambitious Senior Civil Engineer on a full-time permanent basis. You will join a busy team led by an Associate and will head the civils team for projects, attending meetings and site visits. 

 

Project experience should include mixed-use development, regeneration and residential developments, education, healthcare, private sector plus more.

 

About you:

  • Hold a degree in civil or structural engineering;
  • Have at least 5 years’ UK experience in roads and drainage design;
  • Chartered or near Chartered (preferably ICE);
  • Have previous highways and drainage design experience;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey your ideas to colleagues and clients;
  • Able to build relationships effectively;
  • Be conversant with a wide range of relevant design software including Civils 3D for drainage networks.

 

The role will ideally require you to have experience of flood risk assessments and bulk earthworks.

 

As a Senior Engineer you will have a high level of responsibility will need to be a team player who can solve problems, provide mentorship in a friendly manner and take pride in your work.
