If so, our client, a reputable engineering firm in Inverness, is seeking a talented structural engineer to join their team.
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, including residential and commercial buildings, Hydropower stations, and industrial facilities.
The role is best suited to engineers that are looking for exposure across all aspects of engineering from conceptual design to construction and aftercare. This role will also include commercial responsibilities within a small sized firm.
Typical projects range from £40-200k in value.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER PROFILE
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in managing projects from start to finish.
DUTIES OF THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
- Design and analyse structures using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla.
- Assist in identifying business opportunities and actively participate in proposal development.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project completion.
- Manage projects from start to finish within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Provide technical support to clients and team members.
