Our client is looking for a Senior Engineer to join their growing team based in Cambridge. They are one of the UK's largest Temporary Works designers and are looking for someone who has a special interest in temporary works design and can show their experience in it.
The role:
- Temporary Works design and checking above and below ground in all materials (integrated with Permanent Works design);
- Tender stage and bid winning support, focusing on buildability, efficiency and innovation;
- Technical assessment and review of 3rd party designs, ensuring compliance with the brief to meet requirements;
- Delivery of alternative solutions and value engineering;
- Manage and mentor other junior staff.
About you:
- You must be a Chartered Engineer or are looking to become Chartered;
- An interest in Temporary Works Design and experienced in already;
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
