Committed to innovation and sustainable practices, they cater to diverse clients across industries and are currently in search of a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree (BSc or BEng) in Geology or Engineering, complemented by a postgraduate qualification in a related field (MEng, MSc, etc.).
- Already obtained or actively working towards a chartered accreditation.
- Demonstrated success in design-focused Geotechnical roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a lead role in geotechnical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive geotechnical investigations, including site visits, soil and rock sampling, and laboratory testing.
- Analyse geotechnical data and prepare detailed reports, offering engineering recommendations and design solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on foundation design, slope stability, earth retention systems, and other geotechnical aspects of projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, environmental scientists, and construction professionals, to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior geotechnical engineers and technical staff.
