Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with a globally recognised creative design studio, seeking to appoint a Senior Interior Designer to their ever growing team in the outskirts of Birmingham, West Midlands.
The company in question are a huge name within the Hospitality and F&B sectors, boasting an enviable client portfolio including several household name brands throughout the UK & internationally. Having been established for over 30 years and with offices in both the UK and have built a stellar reputation in the Hospitality and F&B sectors.
To facilitate further growth the practice are now seeking to appoint a Senior Interior Designer who can thrive in a fast paced and exciting sector, to be part of their dynamic brand-led design team. Your position as a Senior Interior Designer will see you providing the creative team with guidance, inspiration and strategic direction to launch new & impressive commercially successful projects.
There are fantastic opportunities for progression in this company, with the potential to work on exciting projects both in the UK & internationally, with visits to sister offices in America and elsewhere very much on the table.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Interior Designer as follows:
- Developing and implementing innovative concepts, guidelines, and strategies across various creative projects from conception to completion
- Collaborating with creative teams to understand clients' needs and ensure seamless integration between design disciplines
- Leading and inspiring interior design teams to maximise their talents and efficiency
- Facilitating brainstorming sessions to drive idea generation
- Serving as a proactive senior point of contact for clients to build trust and satisfaction
- Creating and executing unique, high-quality design solutions that satisfy both clients and internal standards
- Taking on senior design responsibilities when necessary to meet client expectations
- Reviewing and refining content and presentations, providing constructive feedback to the team
- Mentoring team members to support their professional growth and development
- Analysing team performance and recommending future actions for improvement.
Requirements of the Senior Interior Designer as follows:
- Proven experience as a Senior Interior Designer.
- At least 5-10 years of experience working within the Hospitality sector. This is essential.
- Hand-on experience of the full creative process, developing brands and interiors across international markets.
- Excellent knowledge of industry standard software: - Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Outstanding leadership and organisational skills.
- Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities.
- An eye-catching portfolio demonstrating new concept expertise in the hospitality and leisure sector.
The successful Senior Interior Designer will be offered a salary in the region of £40,000-£55,000 per annum dependent on experience, with the opportunity for flexible/hybrid working also on offer.
