Due to consistent success, the business is now in a fantastic place to grow - and solid plans have been put in place to expand the Planning Team in Norwich over the coming year. As such, a Senior Planning Consultant is required to come on board and help drive the development of the office enabling them to expand the range of service they can provide – particularly to Local Authorities.

 

The role would see the Senior Planning Consultant join two talented Chartered Town Planners and report to the Associate Director – ensuring to provide case specific planning and development advice on a day-to-day basis to colleagues and clients and taking responsibility for managing and developing individuals, as well as maintaining and growing relationships with existing and new clients. The Senior Planning Consultant will also support larger collaborative pieces of work within the business and work in accordance with the company’s values.

 

The ideal Senior Planning Consultant will be RTPI Chartered and be able to demonstrate experience operating upon Local Authority projects. However, consideration will be made to applicants who have strong experience but have operated within other sectors.  

 

Senior Planning Consultant Requirements:

  • Professional Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Demonstrate significant relevant experience with at least 5 years post qualification.
  • Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation and risks and hazards.
  • Hold a current CSCS site card or prepared to attain.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Full UK Driving Licence
