Senior Project Manager

Our client is a national-leading real-estate and property construction consultancy. With a robust track record spanning several decades, they specialise in delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable construction solutions for a wide range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Sheffield.

 

As a Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to contribute to the continued growth and success of our client's organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities of Senior Project Manager:

  • Lead the overall project delivery process, including project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific objectives, requirements, and constraints, ensuring projects align with their expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration.
  • Monitor and report project progress, milestones, and deliverables to all relevant parties, including clients and senior management.
  • Manage project risks, including health and safety, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Actively contribute to business development activities, including identifying new project opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and facilitating their professional development.

 

Requirements of the Senior Project Manager:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
  • MRICS qualification is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Prince2 or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Solid organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects forward and deliver results, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

  • The salary range for this position is £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
