Our client, a growing multidisciplinary construction consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, with a focus on mixed use and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, including presenting schemes, managing project timelines, and addressing any issues that may impact service delivery.
- Fulfil the role of Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent for various building types, utilising standard construction forms.
- Conduct site visits, perform inspections, and prepare inspection reports.
- Create and present initial appraisal and feasibility reports.
- Develop and present outline design proposals, including budget estimates.
- Prepare detailed working drawings.
- Administer contracts and handle tender processes, including analysis and reporting.
- Delegate tasks to colleagues while maintaining overall responsibility for project success.
- Assist in training and mentoring colleagues.
Key Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent in Building Surveying/Quantity Surveying/Project Management, coupled with relevant professional experience.
- Membership of RICS or a similar recognised qualification.
- Previous construction consultancy experience.
On offer for the Senior Project Manager:
- The salary range for this position is £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
