Senior Project Manager

Our client, a growing multidisciplinary construction consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, with a focus on mixed use and education.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, including presenting schemes, managing project timelines, and addressing any issues that may impact service delivery.
  • Fulfil the role of Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent for various building types, utilising standard construction forms.
  • Conduct site visits, perform inspections, and prepare inspection reports.
  • Create and present initial appraisal and feasibility reports.
  • Develop and present outline design proposals, including budget estimates.
  • Prepare detailed working drawings.
  • Administer contracts and handle tender processes, including analysis and reporting.
  • Delegate tasks to colleagues while maintaining overall responsibility for project success.
  • Assist in training and mentoring colleagues.


Key Requirements:

  • BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent in Building Surveying/Quantity Surveying/Project Management, coupled with relevant professional experience.
  • Membership of RICS or a similar recognised qualification.
  • Previous construction consultancy experience.


On offer for the Senior Project Manager:

  • The salary range for this position is £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
