Real estate and construction consultancy firm in Leeds is looking for a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience to lead and manage various projects including higher education, commercial and public sector projects. As the Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with clients, stakeholders, project teams, and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
• Lead and manage multiple project teams to deliver projects successfully from inception to completion.
• Develop project briefs, feasibilities studies, business cases, and project plans to meet the client's objectives.
• Undertake risk analysis and manage all project risks, ensuring that they are mitigated or avoided.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reporting, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain regular contact with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, keeping them informed of project progress.
• Ensure that all projects meet the relevant standards, including health and safety, quality, environmental, and sustainability.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients and identify new business opportunities.
Key requirements of the Senior Project Manager:
• Degree in a construction related field
• 10+ years of experience in project management in the real estate and property consultancy industry.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven track record of delivering large, complex and high-value projects.
• Experience in managing teams and stakeholders.
• Financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think creatively and outside the box.
On offer for the Senior Project Manager:
- A starting salary of between £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
