My client, one of most reputable multi-disciplinary construction consultancies in the world, is currently looking for a dedicated Senior Project Manager in Sheffield to cover some of Yorkshire’s most exciting projects. The successful candidate will be managing projects up to £50m in value from a wide range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial and defence.
Responsibilities:
- Providing key technical advice to clients
- Overseeing the successful delivery of large-scale projects on time, on budget, to the clients’ needs
- Identifying and managing project costs and risks
- Growing and managing relationships with new and existing clients
- Leading and managing the project team
- Providing mentoring to other project managers and lesser experienced employees
- Full compliance with current legislation, regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field
- Previous construction consultancy experience
- Proven experience managing and leading your own projects
- Experience with contract administration, especially with NEC contracts
- Experience working closely with clients to develop and deliver projects to challenging deadlines
