If you're aiming to expand your industry expertise and advance your career in project management, my client business in Manchester team is actively seeking experienced Project Managers ready to step in at a senior level.
The candidate would come into their already established Real Estate division, predominantly on Education & Commercial sector-focused projects.
Qualifications
- Holds a degree in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects, preferably within a consultancy setting.
- Preferably chartered/qualified or working towards RICS, APM etc.
- Candidates must possess accreditation as an ECC Project Manager under the NEC contract framework.
Roles Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance during the project's inception phase, offering insights into various approaches to effectively achieve the client's overarching objectives.
- Assist in defining the project's success criteria encompassing time, cost, technical, and performance parameters to guide project execution.
- Develop and execute resource plans, overseeing the procurement of necessary resources to support project objectives effectively.
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment towards project goals.
- Develop project budgets, monitor forecasted versus actual costs, and implement cost control measures to optimize project financial performance.
- Facilitate the flow of project information between the project team and stakeholders through regular meetings and written communications, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Identify and monitor project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement proactive measures to minimize project risks and disruptions.
- Take a proactive role in interfacing with clients, consultants, and stakeholders at all project stages, fostering positive relationships and addressing concerns effectively.
