We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading construction and property consultancy based in York. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met.
- Managing project budgets and forecasting costs.
- Ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met on site.
- Leading a team of project managers and consultants to deliver successful projects.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in project management within the construction and property industry.
- A degree in a relevant field such as construction management, architecture or engineering.
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional body such as the CIOB or RICS.
- Strong communication, leadership and team-working skills.
- An excellent understanding of project management methodologies such as Prince2 and Agile.
On offer for the Senior Project Manager:
- A starting salary of £55,0000 - £60,000 depending on experience
- 27 days holiday plus bank holidays with the option buy or sell 5 days
