My client is a 16 strong consultancy and are looking to add to their team with the addition of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their Kilmarnock office.
Interested candidates will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects around the £50M mark, ranging from but not exclusive to Residential and Social Housing, Education, Commercial (offices and business parks) and even the odd Castle refurbishment thrown in.
The office culture has very much a social feel to it with current staff members participating in various charity events together. One of the Senior Partners within the business commented, “We have a very low turnover of staff with people staying from University and one staff member being with the consultancy for over 45years”.
Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
- Experience in cost planning and tender documentation preparation
- Confident, client facing and keen to develop client relationships
- Must be able to work on own initiative, have the drive to progress your career and an outgoing personality
On offer for the Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Starting Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
- 3% Pension
- 20 days holiday plus 10 public days

- Yearly discretionary bonus which is roughly between 5-10%
