We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a UK wide main contractor in the delivery of a number of design & build projects. This individual will be responsible for providing cost and contractual support to construction teams as well as sub-contractors and additional stakeholders. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining a well-established and highly respected company that is committed to delivering quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of tender and contract documents
- Cost planning and budget management
- Measurement and valuation of works
- Administration of contracts
- Resolution of contractual disputes
- Risk management
- Final accounts
Requirements:
- 8+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Good knowledge of construction contracts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
Salary and Benefits
Salary £58,000 - £65,000
