Senior Quantity Surveyor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Global Multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy based in Manchester.
 

This role also offers excellent scope for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career.

About the Role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in advising on all aspects of cost management, procurement strategies, and risk assessment. You’ll be integral to the decision-making process across each project, helping to ensure successful delivery – on time and within budget – while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Preparation of cost estimates and budget forecasts
  • Negotiation and administration of contracts
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs
  • Identification and mitigation of commercial risks
  • Delivering value engineering solutions where applicable

Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC3 forms of contract
  • Chartered MRICS status in Quantity Surveying
  • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
