We have an opportunity available for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work with an award winning building and construction consultancy based on the outskirts of Manchester with on-site parking. There will be occasional travel required to regional offices. This is also an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to progress within their career.
About the role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will play a vital client facing role, providing advice on several different aspects, including Residential, Social Housing, Education, Heritage and Local Authority. You will support the decision making throughout the project, helping deliver high quality outcomes on time and within budget. The role will be based
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Cost Planning/Budget Estimation
- Manage contracts, procurement, and resolve disputes
- Mentor junior surveyors and support team development
- Cost Control
- Risk Management
- Value Engineering
Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Employers Agent experience is advantageous
- Ability to work on own and to be able to manage a team
- MRICS Accredited in Quantity Surveying
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full Driving License
