Role and Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in design and construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development of high-quality structural designs that adhere to safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated design solutions that address project requirements.
- Conducting structural design, calculations, and simulations to ensure optimal performance of designed structures.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.
- Participating in client meetings and presentations to discuss design concepts, progress, and outcomes.
- Staying current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continuously enhance your technical expertise.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural design and construction.
- Proficiency in using structural analysis and design software.
- Strong knowledge of applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery across diverse sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Chartered or Professional Engineer status is a plus.
