Senior Structural Engineer
Norwich
£50,000 - £60,000 plus benefits
Our client is a leading provider of building services across public and private sectors. Their Norwich office has an opportunity for a talented and experienced senior structural engineer to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The role:
- Manage project delivery from concept to construction;
- Carry out design work in all traditional materials;
- Represent firm at client and site meetings;
- Mentor and train more junior engineers;
- Proficient designing in all traditional materials.
About you:
- Degree level Chartered or near Chartered Engineer (MISruct / MICE);
- Significant previous experience of managing the whole design processes from concept to construction;
- Previous experience in day-to-day running of a variety of projects;
- Adept in liaising professionally with external clients and agencies;
- Thorough knowledge of design to British Standards and EuroCodes and of Health & Safety / CDM;
- Experience of large complex steel structures;
- Expertise in use of Tekla Structural Designer is desirable.
