Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer
Location: Belfast
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
We are seeking a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to join a boutique engineering consultancy with a headcount of around 30 staff in Belfast. The successful candidate will manage a variety of smaller projects and contribute to larger, high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a selection of projects independently.
- Contribute to large-scale projects, including a significant £350m educational project in Northern Ireland.
- Work on diverse projects such as social housing, shopping centres, the Kings Hall multipurpose project (healthcare, residential, etc.), and two school projects (£2-8m).
- Produce detailed structural calculations and documentation.
- Regularly meet with clients to provide updates and gather requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Work with minimal supervision to ensure project delivery meets high standards.
Requirements:
- Chartered Structural Engineer status.
- Extensive experience in managing and delivering structural engineering projects.
- Proficiency in producing calculations and technical documentation.
- Strong client-facing skills and experience in mentoring junior staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
