Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Technician to join a busy design team in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in utilising Revit software for industrial and heavy structures such as warehouses, hotels, distilleries, student accommodation etc .

This role requires a hands-on approach, collaborating closely with various design teams to ensure that projects are delivered successfully on time and to candidate specification.

While there is a small team of Technicians already in place, this position does not entail line management responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise Revit software proficiently to create detailed structural drawings and models.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in project delivery.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes and processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience utilising Revit software for industrial and heavy structures.
  • Strong technical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
