Role and Responsibilities: As a Site Engineer, you will be a key member of our project team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of new build projects from inception to completion. Your primary duties will include:
- Setting out and surveying the construction site, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
- Monitoring and overseeing the construction process, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Collaborating closely with the project manager, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progress.
- Conducting quality control checks to maintain construction standards and identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on-site at all times.
- Documenting project progress, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports as required.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with exposure to new build projects.
- Proficiency in surveying techniques and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD and project management software.
