Site Manager - Affordable Housing

Do you have experience of delivering social housing projects? Do you have a trade background or are you an academically qualified Site Manager? if so, then our client needs someone like you.

With a strong forward order book, a range of frameworks secured, a strong reputation in the Scottish market and low staff turnover, our client offers job security and longevity for the right candidate. Upcoming sites include projects across Glasgow, Central and West of Scotland areas with developments ranging from 30 – 150 units in size.

The ideal candidate will have a number of years’ experience in a similar role with strong knowledge of build methods, subcontractors, building regulations, etc. You will be a strong and effective communicator with strong technical knowledge. You will have proven experience of working with local authorities and housing associations and collaborating well with their Clerk of Works.

 

Essential qualifications include;

  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • CSCS
  • Trade background or academically qualified

Roles and responsibilities include;

  • Health & Safety Management
  • Driving on site delivery
  • Ordering of materials
  • Liaising with the commercial team, design teams (internal and external), stakeholders, etc.
  • Effective subcontractor management
  • Reporting to Contracts Manager
