Structural Engineer

£40,000 - £45,000 plus benefits
Our client is a small firm based in Leeds – but don’t let their size fool you! They are exceptionally busy and are looking for a Structural Engineer to enhance their project delivery. They need workers – structural engineers who want to get involved in each project, are willing to go on site and become an integral part of the delivery process from day 1.
Your workload will include a varied range of schemes. As well as design you will be working on surveys, fee proposals and report writing.
As a Structural Engineer you can bring to the table excellent practical knowledge of engineering and possess strong design skills.
About you:
- Degree qualified engineer, either civil or structural;
- Working towards Chartership;
- Experience producing fee proposals and reports;
- Experience checking designs;
- Strong communicator and team player;
- Knowledge of Tekla, Tedds and Finite elements an advantage, but training available.
Our client is the chief engineer for a national retail chain, for which they carry out extensions and refurbishment. They also work on new builds, including multi-million-pound care homes.
