Job Title: Structural Technician

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Our client, a dynamic and privately owned consultancy based in Glasgow, is seeking a talented individual to join their team and contribute to their success in the thriving Scottish construction industry.

Position Overview:

As a Structural Technician, you will join their busy commercial team based in Glasgow.

Working closely with multiple design teams, you will contribute to the success of the company's projects while being hands-on in your approach.

Current Projects:

  • Student Residential (2 with University of Glasgow and two private developers).
  • Various Education (£15M extension, £100M Ardrossan Community campus, £65M Alloa Wellbeing Hub).
  • Larkhall Leisure (£25M).
  • Lidl Framework (9 current sites).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise Revit software to create detailed and accurate structural designs for commercial and occasionally industrial sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams to ensure seamless integration of structural components.
  • Work in a hands-on capacity, contributing your technical expertise to project success.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Structural Technician with a focus on commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in using Revit software for structural design.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
