Technical Director – Civils

£75,000 - £80,000 plus package
Our client is looking to make a strategic appointment within their management team. As a Technical Director you will work closely with the Director, leading the civil engineering team on detailed and strategy design for a broad range of projects.
Sectors include: Education, commercial, industrial and residential.
About you:
- Hold a degree, or equivalent, in civil engineering;
- Chartered or near Chartered;
- Extensive design experience in roads and drainage;
- Able to produce flood risk assessments and drainage strategies;
- Team leader with exceptional technical ability that you can impart;
- Sound business acumen and understanding of design standards;
- Able to manage project resourcing, review & approve work by others and oversee financial aspects of schemes;
- Able to prepare project bids.
This role needs a leader – someone who can inspire a team and encourage innovative thinking and design ideas. You should have extensive experience within a UK consultancy and understand the importance of completing projects on time and within budget.
