Job Title: Contract Technician - CAD-RC Detailing
Location: Glasgow
Duration: 3-6 Months (with possibility of extension)
Hourly Rate: £35-£40 per hour
About The Client:
This consultancy is a leading engineering consultancy specialising in large-scale infrastructure projects.
They are currently seeking a highly skilled Contract Technician with expertise in CAD-RC detailing to join the team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious projects, including HS2 and other key infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed CAD-RC drawings and designs in accordance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and high-quality detailing.
- Review and revise drawings as necessary to meet project requirements.
- Maintain organised documentation and records of all drawings and designs.
- Contribute to project meetings and discussions, providing technical expertise and insights.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CAD-RC Detailing Technician in the engineering consulting industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
- Strong understanding of reinforced concrete detailing.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
